Right. Here’s the best tv commercial that 2015 has seen so far. Money Super Market launched this hilarious and awesome advert last Jaunary and still makes me smile today. Again, there’s no need of special FX and super post production to create a brilliant piece of work.
Great song, great images, great story. Simple formula. Great advert.
Or how a simple idea can produce an amazing visual impact!
And the outtakes:
Here you go. “Pay as you go just got serious” is another as fantastic as simple and funny advert from Wieden + Kennedy currently being running across TV, VOD, outdoor, print and digital. Loving it!
This is the current Southern’s Confort TV Commercial in UK created by Wieden & Kennedy New York. I think it’s great. It just attracts my attention every time I see it on TV. The music and the atmosphere makes it unique.
After the success of the TV advert, Southern Comfort used Social Media to encourage people to film their own versions onto YouTube.
W&K London will be implementing the New York office’s creative strategy “Whatever’s Comfortable”. They have recently launched an extended version of the campaing based on the same concept but, from my point of view, they have lost the unique freshness of the first Ad.
Tesco Mobile has released a series of TV spots challenging the perception that it is not a serious contender in the market. The ads were created by Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam and show friends laughing at each other for buying a Tesco Mobile product before a comedian (Ed Byrne, Gina Yashere or Ronnie Corbett) interrupts, telling them there’s nothing funny about being a member of the network. The ads were written by Andy Parsons, art directed by Fred Rodwell and directed by Ulf Johansson through Smith & Jones. I just think they are brilliant.
This is one of the winners in the Cannes Lions Festival 2013 which ends today. The Australian company Whybin\TBWA Group has been awarded with the ‘Creative Effectiveness Lion’, is not the Grand Prix winner but my favorite one.
